The challenge
The project required transforming a large, unfinished space into an immersive spa that reflected both the heritage of Santorini and the expectations of a high-end, global audience. The client requested a design that merged Cycladic architectural forms with modern luxury, while also delivering therapeutic and aesthetic excellence. The spa needed to stand out in a competitive hospitality market by offering an authentic, transformative experience that seamlessly blended architecture, culture, and cutting-edge wellness facilities.
Our approach
We designed a cave-style spa using local materials and Cycladic forms, creating a natural yet refined environment. Key features included a vitality pool, steam room, ice fountain, and Kurland stone bath, carefully arranged to enhance guest flow and serenity. Our guest experience strategy emphasized comfort, authenticity, and immersion, ensuring a deeply restorative journey for visitors.
